I have to be honest, I don't think these are quite what Amy is looking for based on the descriptions she has given me (and knowing Amy at all) but they are yummy nonetheless, no?
My old friend, Amy emailed this week. Her very favorite pair of red, mary jane heels is broken and cannot be fixed. Devatastating ,no? She has requested our help in procuring a new pair. Amy, we're here for you, plus red mary janes are delightful and it will be lovely to look at them every day.
Well girls, this week I have jury duty so, until they release me from my civic duty, blogging will cease temporarily. Don't you worry though. I should be back next week with lots of lovely gladiator sandals.
The color of these is, of course, divine. However, what I really love about them is the touch of dressy added by the tiny wedge. A little, tiny touch of class.
***Oh my gosh! Excuse my sloppy typing and enjoy the corrected version above.
O.K., you all know that wedges are not my favorite. I just think that if I am going to wear heels, I should get to feel just a little sexy, not table and clunky. I am trying to get over my issues but for today we are taking baby steps. This week is baby step number one. Lately, I have been digging the new sliver wedges, hope you do too.
Oh how I long to add these to my collection. My skin tone prevents me from wearing orange anywhere but on my feet and they are ACHING to slip into these little babies.
These have Nike-designed interiors. Can you imagine how fun it would be to wear pretty, snakeskin-embossed shoes that feel like Nikes. 'Cause these are really pretty.
So, according to my sources (mostly fashion mags), open-toed flats are all the rage for spring. Hurrah! I can't even describe the little skip my heart makes just thinking abpout all the pretty shoes that I don't yet own. Sigh.
These were simply too fantastic not to be shoe of the week. Points for creativity definitely, but I don't know if I am really comfy with an adorable crab that close to my tootsies.
It turns out, that while I have more pairs of ballet flats than any person needs, I am sorely lacking in the sandal department. As every day warms a little I am realizing tha I had best get going on that project (you know, stocking my closet appropriately) in order to be truly prepare for the delightful heat ahead.
