Obviously I was kidnapped by ninjas-why else would I abandon you for so long with out word. Due to my trauma- I wish to never speak of the incident again. We will continue where we left off.
So, two of my least favorite people on this planet are Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton. They have shoe lines just for being famous which makes me dislike them even more. The problem is that they apparently hired some talented designers because some of their shoes are quite lovely, as much as I am loathe to admit it. Welcome to useless celebrity designer week.
My dear father learned of my little obsession only a few months ago when he discovered this blog. For Christmas he thoughtfully gave me a check with strict instructions that the money was to be spent on shoes and only shoes. Best. gift. ever. These are the fruits of my shopping labors-delightful, no?
I actually own these and I adore them. I have been waiting all winter for spring to come because with all the delightful cut-outs in these my tootsies get a little chilly in the winter. They are stunning on. The perfect combination of simple and detailed. Highly recommend.
I love these and I will never, ever be able to afford them. So let's all just pretend I am wearing them to preschool drop-off with my favorite skinny jeans. Do you see the admiring glances of all the other mothers? Do you see the look of true contentment and joy in my eyes?
In honor of Valentines' Day this week will be simply full of shoes that I love. That's it,nothing more complicated than that. Shoes on which I have a crush.
Obviously I am a little behind, more so in my real life than my cyber life and so I am taking a hiatus this week to get caught up on the other stuff in my world. However, I don't want to be lonely so you can check out the new spring collections at Meiman Marcus here or enjoy the fashion faux pas of the rich and mirrorless at Fug here.
