I am trying to build up the readership. Maybe we could get free stuff, giveaways, etc. if we had enough readers so, if you feel so inclined, feel free to add it to your links list (if you have one). Thanks for your consideration.
I love, love, love the color on these. Your feet will be cool, your legs will look tan, you will look fashionable and classic and you will not have spent very much.
Gladiators are big this summer and I have to admit I find many of them to be a bit much. These, however, I would love to wear all summer long. Simple, comfy and they make your ankles look skinny, not bad, if I do say so myself.
These beauties were contributed by shoeshine reader Amber (thanks!). The feminine lines and classic construction make them appropriate for even the most formal of garden parties and the color makes your heart happy every time you happen to glimpse your feet.
It's the start of a new week and thus, a new theme. I know that we are already 2/3 of the way through summer but I thought we'd spend the week admiring sandals. Plus, since cooler weather is on it's way they will probably all be on sale soon.
Well girls, it's time for the ever popular shoe of the week. This beauty is by Giuseppe Zanotti, an italian designer who makes lovely shoes. They are satin studded with crystals. These would make almost anything feel just a little bit magical.
Admit it, at some point in your life you wanted to be a ballerina. I did. I was thrilled when ballet flats hit the scene. They are comfy and pretty all at the same time. They make any outfit feel just a little more feminine. So, this weeks' theme? Ballet flats.
Yesterday I finally got to wear the gold shoes I blogged about here. I wore them to church on a day when I took my two little boys-by myself. Taking my boys to church by myself is sort of like taking monkeys to church. My three-year-old is pretty good but yesterday he was feeling a little needy and grouchy and my ten-month old simply never stops moving, he climbs all over me and the pew for the entire meeting. They have a tendency to want to go opposite directions. I always finish the first meeting feeling frazzled and there are still two more hours to go. Luckily I was wearing what I have taken to calling my princess shoes (a suggestion from my three- year-old). They sparkled and shined through all three meetings and made me feel pretty even though I was a tiny bit overwhelmed. Thank heaven for pretty shoes. Sometimes they are the only thing that gets me through church.
The shoe of a week will often be a dream shoe, a shoe we sould consider purchasing if we were all movie stars. This weeks' is a Louboutin (sigh) it would be fantastic with a plain, neutral dress. That way everyone would focus on your fabulous feet.
So feminine and flirty! I love the slightly pale color and the darling pintucks along the side. They demand a lovely pleated skirt and the perfect afternoon.
I have been looking for the perfect pair of yellow heels. My girlfriend just bought a really fabulous pair and I am jealous. So, to make myself feel better and aid in my search, this week's theme is yellow. Here is pair one- aren't they lovely. They're not terribly expensive and they're faux, but I think they are adorable.
